Saltmarsh House Manual
Our part of the Central Coast is beautiful and centrally located. We love it.
Check In and Out
You will receive your unique code the morning of your check-in. Beware, the unique code will expire at the time of check out.
Check in is 2 pm. Check out is 10 am.
Ducted Air Conditioning & Fire Extinguisher
Saltmarsh has ducted air for your comfort, it is an incredibly quiet system and the control panel is by the front door.
Please be mindful and turn the unit off after leaving.
There is a fire extinguisher in the broom closet in the bathroom and a fire blanket under the sink.
WIFI
You are welcome to use our WIFI Saltmarsh. The password is S@ltm@rsh193
Bathroom Taps
The taps in the bathroom can be a bit confusing at first. You just push up the handle and turn left or right; it's a normal handle minus the stick.
TV & Entertainment
The TV is in the gold frame on the bookshelf - the remote lives next to the marble dish under the TV.
Alternately you are welcome to peruse a book from the library.
Outdoor Pillows
Outdoor Pillows are located in the bottom of the wardrobe.
Picnic Basket
We have an insulated picnic basket for your convenience, located in the bottom of the wardrobe.
Something Not Working?
Check the switch box. It’s behind the door in the bathroom.
Washing
We have a washing machine and laundry liquid for you to use. There are two fold out clothes lines in the courtyard. The arms close the same way they open. Like a gate they swing on a hinge. If you have trouble closing them- just leave them open for the cleaner.
Longer Stays
For guests staying 14 nights or more, we provide a mid-stay linen and towel refresh, ensuring you continue to enjoy the simple luxury of fresh sheets and towels during your stay.
For stays of 28 nights or more, we also offer an optional light clean for an additional fee, should you wish for a little extra ease.
If you’d like to take advantage of this, please let us know in advance so we can arrange it for you.
Bins
The bin enclosure is located outside under the aircon unit. We recommend opening the doors of the enclosure rather than the lids; they're heavy and awkward.
Checking Out
The general rule is to leave it how you found it.
If anything breaks, is empty, or if you have a note about any issues, repairs, or the like, please just leave that out on the kitchen table. It would help us out so much.
We love this little unit so much and it’s such a pleasure to share it. I really appreciate any feedback you may have so I can be sure to make it even better for everyone who stays.

If your stay is a bit longer, text me to organize a clean while you’re out. An additional cleaning fee will be added.
Smoking
There is no smoking at Saltmarsh, in or around it. Please take any butts with you and take care to look after our little slice of paradise.
Eating and Drinking
Please keep food and drink out of the bedroom and out of the lounge area. Stains and spills can be difficult on the delicate fabrics.

There are no pets at Saltmarsh, please. Evidence of pets will incur an extra cleaning fee that may be expensive.
Extra Guests
Extra guests may be coordinated by arrangement only.
Broken Items
Broken items are all good and so understandable. Life happens. Just leave whatever it may be out so we can replace it. Please never stress about a broken glass at Saltmarsh.
Malicious Damage & Theft
On the flip side, any damage that is malicious or any theft will be reported to the police. We think that’s firm but fair and hopefully never have an issue on the matter.
Parties and Events
Saltmarsh is too small and too close to it's neighbours to be the kind of place to do such things. Our neighbours will let us know.
